Course registration for the 2024-2025 spring semester will begin on Friday, February 14, 2025. Students will register for courses by logging in via the university's student information system (https://obs.firat.edu.tr/) with their student number and password.

How to register for courses via the student information system?

After logging into the student information system, click on the "Ders Kayıt" option under the "Ders ve Dönem İşlemleri" section in the menu on the left.
In the window that opens, all displayed courses are selected by clicking on the tab for the student's class from the "1. Sınıf Dersleri, 2. Sınıf Dersleri, 3. Sınıf Dersleri ve 4. Sınıf Dersleri" tabs.
You must select all courses in your current semester (click here to review the course list).

After all courses to be selected are selected, the "Kesinleştir" button should be clicked on the course registration screen.

Changes can be made by advisors during the approval phase of course registrations. Therefore, please check that your course registrations have been approved by the advisor.

How to choose "Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution" and "English" courses?

Click on the "Müfredat/Bölüm Dışı Dersler" tab on the right side of the "4. Sınıf Dersleri" tab.
"Eğitim Fakültesi" as a unit at the top of the window that opens; "Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık" must be selected as the program.
Click the "Tüm Dersleri Listele" button at the bottom right of the course list.
From the displayed groups, one group belonging to the "AİT102 Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılap Tarihi 2" course and one group belonging to the "YDİ108 İngilizce 2" course are selected.
The day and time of the groups are written at the beginning of the line. According to the department's course schedule, the group that takes place on the day and time when there are no other classes (on a day and time different from the other selected courses) must be selected.

How to choose profession elective (EGTS) and General culture elective (GKS) courses?

Starting from the 2nd year fall semester, one profession elective (EGTS), one general culture elective (GKS) and one field education elective (PDRS) course must be selected when registering for courses (4th grade students who have successfully completed 4 general culture elective courses will not choose the general culture elective course). The field education elective (PDRS) course is among the regular semester courses.

To choose profession elective (EGTS) and General culture elective (GKS) courses;

On the course registration screen, click on the "Müfredat/Bölüm Dışı Dersler" tab on the right side of the "4. Sınıf Dersleri" tab.
"Eğitim Fakültesi" as a unit at the top of the window that opens; "YÖK Ortak Dersler" is selected as the program.
Click the "Tüm Dersleri Listele" button located at the bottom right of the course list.
One of the displayed courses is coded "EGTS"; One "GKS" coded course is selected. (You should not choose the "EGTS14 Karakter ve Değer Eğitimi/Character and Value Education" course from the EGTS coded elective courses.)
The quotas of these courses are limited. If the quota of the course you want to choose is full, you must choose another course in the same group.
